Die Anschlüsse 1 und 3 sind als 12-polige M12-Anschlüsse ausgeführt. Daran können jeweils 1 Inkrementalgeber oder SSI-Geber mit 5 V Differenzsignalen angeschlossen werden. Zusätzlich sind auf dem gleichen Ausgang 2 digitale Kanäle verfügbar, die als Eingänge konfiguriert bei Inkrementalgebern mit Statusausgängen (z. B. Alarm) verwendet werden können. Als Ausgänge parametriert, fungieren sie bei SSI-Gebern z. B. für Preset und Zählrichtungsumkehr. Jeweils 2 weitere parametrierbare Digitalkanäle sind auf den Buchsen 2 und 4 verfügbar. Die Eingänge können als Latch-, Gate- oder Referenzfreigabeschalter verwendet werden, die Ausgänge z. B. als Komparatorausgänge.
